LOOK to the skies in Birmingham next week and you could be forgiven for thinking of cult movie Apocalypse Now.
Because four helicopters will be hovering above the city – as opera music is blasted out by a high-flying string quartet.
The stunning event is part of a celebration of works by the late German composer, Karlheinz Stockhausen.
The copters and musicians will take to the skies above the Argyle Works in Great Barr daily, from August 22 to 25, as part of a world premiere of his famous opera, Mittwoch aus Licht.
